James Hyland and his team has over 35 years experience in utilities and general construction. He and his twin sons run the business and plan on passing down the company from generation to generation.
Since the late 80s, the Hyland family has laid more than 16,000 miles of fiber across the country, in more than 15 states. They also engineered and built the downtown Columbus underground network. It was the most sophisticated, redundant fiber optic network in the U.S. at the time in 2001; a $10 million, 13-mile fiber optic network passing 150 access manholes. The system was designed to provide enormous data transfer speed and bandwidth to about 330 downtown buildings. The infrastructure includes 11 ducts, which allows for multiple system users and unparalleled accessibility.
Further, they also built the Americast cable TV system in Ohio and have been a contractor for coaxial cable installation for more than 20 years. No project is too big or two small. They care more about the quality of work and long-term prospect of the relationship!
